I never know what to say in these things. Currently, I am stationed at Ft. Stewart. Most of my family lives in Ohio and though we're not extremely close we are getting closer as I get older. For the past 3 years I was living in Hollywood, CA and pursuing the life of show business. I had many successes as well as pitfalls but ultimately accepted God's will that while I love the 'biz and it will always be a part of my life, that at that point it wasn't where He wanted me. My faith has gotten me through much and has grounded me though-out the changing of the seasons. I am involved in a couple of Bible studies, attend church when I am able, and have a prayer moment scheduled every night with one of my battles that I made in BCT who is getting ready to deploy. I read a lot in my spare time. Anything I can get my hands on. A couple of my battles have made fun of me for my various topics. For instance, at one time I was reading a romance novel, a yoga book, WE WERE SOLDIERS AND YOUNG ONCE, a book on posionious snakes and how to treat the poison, circuits, US Medal of Honor recipients, and one on basic algebra.
I also write. With my time schedual the way it is now, it's mostly poetry; however, I do tend to work on a little bit of everything. I love to watch sports and except if the Buckeyes are playing, I will root for nearly any team and can be one of the most loud and obnoxious people you have ever met. I have a cookie container that has my letters and journals in it in my locker that plays the OSU fight song when you lift the lid that I think is driving my bunkmates a little crazy but I love it! I also enjoy golf, horsebackriding, bowling, martial arts,and playing soccer, softball, and flag football.
