Andy Lewis-You Should Be Hearing Something Now!

Andy's new album, released October 15th 2007!

About Me

You Should Be Hearing Something Now! is the second solo album from Andy Lewis. It features guest vocal performances from Andy Ellison, Claire Nicolson, Gary Crowley, Andy Pawlak, Corrina Greyson, Johnny Cooke and Simon Calnan, as well as the hit single "Are You Trying To Be Lonely?" with Paul Weller. Andy's music continues to reference all the memories and things that continue to inspire him... late nights listening to transistor radios under the bedclothes, falling out of love and then in again, dusty old records found in second-hand shops, being off school with the flu watching Pebble Mill At One, myths of Swinging London, the feel of well-cut clothes, the smell of a newly-opened box of electronic equipment...

Band Members: Andy Lewis played guitar, bass, 'cello, piano, organ, synthesizer, mellotron, electric sitar, tambourine and drums, and programmed samplers and virtual instruments with a MacBook Pro running ProTools. He also sang a bit. He was joined by Pete Twyman, who played additional guitar, organ, mellotron and other keyboard bits that Andy couldn't hack, as well as writing the song "Down Below" and programming this and "Tell Me Once Again You Love Me" on an ancient Atari back in the last century. Nick Van Gelder played some drums, as did Steve Cradock. Michelle Imbierski played sax, and was joined on "Are You Trying To Be Lonely?" by Jacko Peake and Dom Glover on sax and trumpet respectively. Corrina Greyson, Paul Weller, Claire Nicolson, Simon Calnan, Johnny Cooke, Dave Jay, Gary Crowley and Andy Ellison were lead vocalists, and were joined by David O'Brien, Liz Ridley and Wesley Doyle on backing vocals. Charles Rees at Black Barn studios provided a fresh set of ears and sound advice during the mixing process.PRE ORDER NOW! from www.hmv.co.uk , www.amazon.co.uk or your local independent record store
