Out NOW! on Acid Jazz records...

About Me

Andy Lewis met Paul Weller whilst acting as backline tech for the band Dogs. Paul had heard of Andy's album of 2005, "Billion Pound Project", and had liked what he had heard. When asked what he was up to at the moment, Andy pressed upon Paul a CD of works in progress. One of the tunes stood out, a soul-inspired stomper with a nagging horn riff and a gut-wrenching key change. A late night phone call, a few trips to a studio in deepest Surrey and a large number of light ales later, Acid Jazz records is proud to present "Are You Trying To Be Lonely?". Featuring one of the strongest vocals from Weller in many a year, it's the first single to be taken from the new album from Andy Lewis, "You Should Be Hearing Something Now!". The single is out NOW and the album is released on October 8th. For more information about Andy Lewis, check out www.myspace.com/andylewisuk or www.andylewis.info .
