Ibiphonic

When I listen to this album, I realise it could only have happened in Ibiza.Lets face it, I would probably have never come up with the idea for a vocal project featuring such an eclectic group of singers. Where would I find them? Where would they come from? To me, it would sound like an impossible goal to achieve.But, one day at the beginning of 2007, my friend Boris posed exactly this question "Why don't you do an album, just vocal tracks?" I asked him where he thought the tracks would come from?

And he pointed out that there had been a great number of vocal recordings made in my studio, so one day I dived, deep into the archives, to discover that he was right!

Not only during the summer, but throughout the year, many musicians come to the island and stay, some for days, and some for years! Well, I’m so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some truly remarkable musicians in the past couple of years which has made iBiPhONiC possible.

Here’s the first chapter of songs that more or less happened accidentally and I’m quite sure that there’s more to come... P.M.
