I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

A new media Shoreditch twat who has at some point also worked/lived/socialised in the near-by Brick Lane. Defined by 80s retro 90s fusion clothes (usually a suit jacket, blue ripped jeans, and white trainers/shoes), an ability to talk about pseudo-intellectual artistic bullshit with no relevance to the real world, completely up my own backside, and a failure to comprehend that I am the laughing stock of the rest of the normal local (ethnic) population.Gemma Winter is has had her styling, musings and ponderings published in Disorder Magazine, KCTV, The Guardian, G.F.W. Daily, Daily Rubbish, The Crack, and Sugar Ape. She also styled the video 'Mom and Dad' by Trash Fashion, and their USA Tour 2007 promotional material, and the Emma Bell for Irregular Choice S/S 08 Look Book. She is available for freelance, styling, writing, whatever, why not message her?
"That is so wicked! I take my hat off to Gemma" Lulu Kennedy, Fashion East"Too Fashion for Fashion PR" Kelly Blower, The Communications Store

My Interests

DJing, drinking sickly chocolate milkshakes, walking in the rain. Shopping for vintage clothes and buying vinyl particulary if I find something very rare, dancing badly like I'm having a seisure. I adore cooking espcially if its for my friends and people that I love.

Androgeny, New Romantics and Blitz kids...Nightclubbing, bright white clubbing.....
Swanning around art galleries talking to amazing creative individuals, Brian Eno, Vik Muniz, Marcus Coates, Jamie Hince and er Adam Hogarth. Dead artists I love include Andy Warhol, Dali, anyone featured on a biscuit tin. I would love to meet James Rosenquiest, Claes Oldenburg and Tracey Emin.
Above all I love style - styling friends, fashion shoots and I fucking love to write about contempory style, like a latter day Peter York but with rock star looks. London is so inspiring right now and I feel like a lot of the real stuff thats happenning simply isn't being reported. I hate celebrity culture and the way it has shaped this decade, all the z listers it has produced - weather they are off Big Brother, or Pop Idol. Fakes, two-faced people, posuers, ignorance and apathetic society,FASHION TWATS AND GORMLESS FUCKERS WHO USES THE WORD MA-JOR, INFACT THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE SAYS IT TO ME I WILL ACTUALLY SLAP THEM - IT REALLY UPSETS ME AS A WRITER WHEN PEOPLE HAVE NO FUCKING REGARD FOR THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND FAKE DYSLEXIA I.E. CHANGING THE SPELLING OF WORDS - WHICH IS NOT BIG OR CLEVER, AND IS ONLY ACCEPTABLE WITH THE DYSLEXICS, CHILDREN AND STUPID PEOPLE. I also collect retro computer games, for the NES, SNES, Megadrive and N64, but none of this Spectrum nonesense, far too passe even in 1983!
