THE WHOREMOANS solved the problem of being underage when the closest you get to clubbing is downing a can of White Lightening and rapidly flicking your bedroom lights on and off. They banded together to become DJing prodigies - scoring weekly bookings at nightclubs like Koko, Scala and 333 - and watched the velvet ropes melt away. School chums Bertie, Polly and Sophie have now been mixing their tastes on the decks for nigh on two years, "It helped to get in if you say you're djing," says Bertie "but you do need your records.
