Strange days have found us.

You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one

About Me

Hey, my name is Rob. I am a 24 year old student going to school to become a high school english teacher. I also play in a band called The Tombstones, write music, sing back up, play lead guitar, and also play the drums. I also enjoy writing poetry. I like to think alot about philosophical questions, mostly metaphysics. I also enjoy perceiving the beauty in all things. I love nature and being out doors. I like going to beaches and wandering around in the mountains. I come from a musical family and love music. My favorites are Pink Floyd, The Doors,The Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath just to name a few. When I was 18 I became a semi professional BMX rider and that was most definetly my first love. BMX has been in my blood since I was in 7th grade, and even though I don't ride as much, every time I see a good rail, I'll go back and grind it. I live life the way I want to live it because we all only live one time here on earth, so we might as well take advantage of the situation. I am also a person who seeks peace, within myself and the world. I have a pessemistic veiw of society which is portrayed in alot of my poetry. I also like to think about where I am spiritualy. I guess thats something I'll have ot think about all of my life.

My Interests

On September 16th, 2006..I seen Roger Waters. I write Poetry, most recently I have been writing about my pessimistic veiws on soceity, other then that I write about my own philosophies on vairious subjects. I am a muscian, I can play pretty much any instrument, mainly the guitar, drums, and dulcimer (eastern string with drone sound). I also sing. I like playing "art" rock, somewhat of a modern psychedelic sound with very deep lyrics. I take pride in my lyrics and every word I write has a deep significance. My inspiration comes from Roger Waters of Pink Floyd and Jim Morrison for writing lyrics, David Gilmore from Pink FLoyd for Guitar, and Allen Ginsberg for writing poetry. I enjoy having intellectual conversations with anyone who is willing to hold one. I can pretty much form an opinion on any subject matter when breifed. I am currently working on a musical project with two musicians who are both extremly unique (as am I) in the way they think and veiw things. We are putting a concept album together and recording the entire thing before we even do one show. Alot of the material will be about the current situation of society, war, and also a few other songs I wrote about some "out there" lyrical content. On June 1st, 2007, I will see Roger Waters. Ohh yeah, I play the the guitar and write some songs for The Tombstones.

I'd like to meet:

Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Buddha (Siddhartha), Brian Jones, John Lennon,Syd Barret and a bunch of other people that are already dead. Roger Waters, David Gilmour. Also a girl that understands me. Allen Ginsberg.." i saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked"...Also, I would like to meet George W. to ask him what the hell he thinks he is doing.
