Fotos: Enrique Falcón The Crystal Ship Band nace en México durante 2005 con el propósito de rendir tributo a una de las mejores bandas de rock de todos los tiempos The Doors. The Crystal Ship Band tiene como misión revivir la experiencia electrizante de escuchar los temas clásicos e inmortales del cuarteto de california conformado por Jim Morrison, Ray Manzareck, Robby Krieger y Jhon Densmore.La banda, integrada originalmente por Roberto Eslava en la voz, César Mario Garduño en los teclados, Juan Carlos Torres en la guitarra, Julio César Franco en el bajo y Eduardo Vázquez en batería , comienza su trayectoria con actuaciones en pequeños bares en la Ciudad de México, teniendo gran aceptación por parte del público. Posteriormente los conciertos del grupo se realizan en plazas públicas y auditorios ante audiencias cada vez más grandes, lo cual propicia que el número de seguidores y el prestigio de The Crystal Ship Band como una excelente banda de tributo a The Doors aumenten. A finales de 2006 el grupo tiene un cambio de alineación, siendo Roberto Eslava y César Mario Garduño los únicos integrantes originales que deciden continuar y los que toman las riendas del proyecto.A principios de 2007, la nueva alineación de The Crystal Ship Band comienza a funcionar. Roberto Eslava y César Garduño ahora con Miguel Caldera en la batería, Fernando Tavera en la guitarra y Heber Canett en el bajo , inician una nueva etapa. Las primeras actuaciones de TCSB con sus nuevos integrantes superan las expectativas del público y confirman la calidad del grupo, el cual regresa a los escenarios con mayor fuerza que nunca. La banda se presenta en importantes foros de rock de la Ciudad de México como el Liverpool Pub y el Bar Sixtie..s, así como en el Teatro Hidalgo y el Teatro Tepeyac, compartiendo el escenario con los mejores grupos de tributo de la capital como Morsa, Bulldog y Five Fingers.Gracias al apoyo del público, The Crystal Ship Band se ha colocado en un lugar destacado en la escena rockera mexicana, por su labor como banda tributo a The Doors, interpretando sus temas clásicos con la magia y fuerza de una época prodigiosa como fue la década de los 60..s con la cual los jóvenes del siglo XXI estaremos en deuda por su gran legado cultural. ¡Señoras y señores, la ceremonia continuará por siempre, esto es The Crystal Ship Band, tributo a The Doors! The Crystal Ship Band starts in Mexico City during 2005 in order to tribute one of the best rock bands of all times: The Doors. The Band remains the experience of listening to the classic songs of the Californian quartet conformed by Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore.The band, first integrated by Roberto Eslava on vocals, Cesar Mario Garduño ..boards, Juan Carlos Torres on guitar, Julio Cesar Franco on bass and Eduardo Vázquez on drums, begins performing at small places in Mexico City, having a great acceptance by the people. Later the concerts start being in front of greater hearings. This caused the number of fans and the prestige of The Crystal Ship Band as an excellent tribute band to The Doors to be increased. At the end of 2006 the group suffered a change on players, being Roberto Eslava and Cesar Mario Garduño the only original members that decided to continue with the project.At the beginning of 2007, The Crystal Ship Band begins playing with Roberto Eslava and Cesar Garduño now with Miguel Caldera on drums, Fernando Tabera on guitar and Heber Canett on bass, initiating a new era. The first performances of TCSB with their new members exceeded the people expectations and confirm the quality of the band. The band appears in important rock forums at Mexico City like “the Liverpool Pub”, “the Sixtie’s Bar”, the “Foro Alicia”, the “Circo Volador”, as well as at “Hidalgo Theater” and “Tepeyac Theater”, sharing the scene with some of the best Mexican tribute bands like Morsa, Bulldog and Five Fingers. Thanks to the acceptance of the audience, The Crystal Ship Band has been placed as an important part of the Mexican rock scene, playing The Doors classic songs with the magic and force of a prodigious time which were the 60’s.Ladies and gentlemen, the ceremony will continue forever, this is The Crystal Shib Band, The Doors tribute!
