KINO's debut album 'Picture' was released in February 2005 (featuring drums by Chris Maitland - formerly of Porcupine Tree), and met an enthusiastic reception from an international audience, as well as attracting positive recognition from the music press. The band has played gigs across Europe and the USA, both headlining their own tours, and as support to Spock's Beard for their European tour in 2005.
NEWS UPDATE
Recording of a second KINO album is currently on hold while Pete Trewavas works on Marillion's 14th studio album. It has also been decided to reform the band IT BITES, which comprised John Beck, Bob Dalton, bass player Dick Nolan, and frontman Francis Dunnery. With Francis now pursuing a solo career, John Mitchell has been invited to take over the lead role, and the new It Bites are now in the process of writing and recording songs for a new album, and tour in December. See www.itbites.com for more information and tour dates.
