Thoughts Lost, A downward spiral in the deepest of depressions, the most vulgar display of hurt and anger inside one's self. A state of confusion, a feeling of paranoia that is sometimes uncontrolable. This is for everyone who feels hopeless, this is for those who overcome it all. These feelings, this music, is a result of the every day struggles to remain somewhere between content and not so content. Dangerous lows and short lived highs inside the mind, no way to live but sometimes we dont have say in the matter. Somewhere within an apathetic mindset there is room to care so much about something so little. These are the ups and downs of everyday life. Relate, enjoy and help each other overcome these thoughts of feeling lost. - Dale Hinz -
.....Another day passes on, still we live, just to live on.....A band built on strong lyrical content, catchy heavy music and an intense live show was formed in the cold Buffalo winter of 2003. Pulling influences from all types of metal, hardcore and punk Thoughts Lost fuses together an abrasive blend of Hardcore, Metal and Death Metal. Hailing from a depression such as Buffalo, an often time agonizing place to be, is alot of where the bands anger comes from to form the music they create. Mid 2003 saw the release of a 3 song cd, long since out of print but it wasnt til the release of 2004's "You might as well Burn" 4 song demo where the band saw hints of true growth as a band. In 2005 the band saw a couple of line up changes from which point the early 2006 ep "The Bleeding Process" was released.Thoughts Lost has performed with such diverse acts as Chimaira, Kittie, All That Remains, The Agony Scene, Bullet for my Valentine, Through the eyes of the dead, Less Than Jake, Rise Against, A.F.I, Silverstein, Gym Class Heroes, The Casualties, Default, Theory of a Deadman, Senses Fail, From Autumn To Ashes, Underoath, From First To Last, My Ruin, Bleed The Sky, Five Bolt Main, Anterabae, NOFX, Suicide City, Closer than Kin, Factory 81, Death by stereo, Candiria, Aiden, Everytime I Die, Fall River, Sicks Deep, Guilt by Association, Misery Index, The Autumn Offering and many others soon to come. The band has also showcased for metal blade records and performed a portion of The Vans Warped Tour Festival!
