ld started up from july '89 in Weelde ,north of Belgium ,close to dutch borderline by Zjef van beek who was a busy concertpromotor(shakin'weld) in the nineties but rocksteady again after some years of travelling around the world . Except of running music bars in this area ,shakin'weld did some shows with Lee Perry,Laurel Aitken,Dennis Alcapone,U Roy,The Meditations,Eek a mouse,Yellowman,Culture,The Dillbrothers,King Sunny Adé,Compay Segundo,The Troggs,Loudon Wainwright III,Duke Robillard,The Paladins,The Blazers,Guy Forsyth,Dave Alvin,The Seatsniffers,Mambo Chillum,Moondog Jr.,Roland,Tom Robinson,The Walkabouts,S.E.
