That's what you are guaranteed to get from this extraordinary Mallorca-based multicultural band comprised of two Argentinians, two Mallorcans and an Australian.DINAMO is the musical coming together of disparate people from contrasting cultures that are nevertheless kindred spirits when it comes to the urge to generate cosmopolitan atmosphere and euphoria both on and off the stage.Federico Fossati (guitar and vocals), Ezequiel Maqui (bass) and Valentin Tarin (drums) built the band's foundations in the town of Alcudia, Mallorca, following musical careers in Argentina and Australia.Several changes later, Dinamo finds its most explosive chemistry with the arrival of Argentinian Marcos "Markus" Herrada (keyboards) and Mallorcans Jaume "Lolo" Cerda (trumpet), Juanan Torrandell (bass) and Rafael Alemany (drums) .The music of Europe's East is an integral part of the band's sound, but Dinamo's unmistakable pulse can be found in the fusion of the Italian strands of the River Plate region with the most severe Ska.DESEQUILIBRIOTheir long awaited first album, "Desequilibrio" (2007, Punkaway Records), contains enough positive energy in Original Latin Ska form to light up Planet Earth with joy. Twelve songs with hit written all over them, and all the freshness, charm, warmth and fun that are Dinamo's stock-in-trade.
