Band Members: Gregor and Mukti are old friends, they played together in Moss(marginale onderdrukte speedsniffers), a hardcore punk band with Mukti on drums. At the same time Mukti played in Tachyon, at that time also a punk band (he also joined Belgian Asociality later on,)... one thing led to another and Gregor became the singer of Tachyon. As this group gradually became a ska band, Kike was asked to join them on sax. After Tachyon split up in 2003 these three friends found each other again in AGSO.servie/Kosovo born Suhamet latifi plays the keyboards.Gregor and Enrique are part of the Ambrassband(antifascistische militante brassband), a fanfare that grew out of the Antifare la familia.
Gregor engelen and Enrique Noviello also form the horn section of Donkey Diesel.
Nathan Daems plays soprano,tenorsax.
Filip plays double bass in a lot of different bands (lais,andy and the androids,valerie solanas..)and of course agso!
Roel "porino" porio (think of one) plays the drums,loops and samples.
Because we had a lot of coming and going musicians agso was constantly looking for a new sound with new people.
Influences: from oldschool hardcore and bad brains to all kinds of reggae and ska,from judge dread to prince buster, all the balkan brassbands, especially fanfare ciocarlia, the fastest gipsybrassband in the world!!, kocani orkestra, boban and his son marko markovich orkestra,mahala rai banda,balkan beat box ,ivo papasov, and many more
Sounds Like: we live in antwerp and every musician in the band is playing in different genres like :(tango,hardcore,brassband,death metal,klezmer,jazz, classic etc..)
thats why we like to make a combination of rythmes and styles without losing the authencity of the music l
