My Interests

Here are many ways to help HHT. Check out the many opportunities to get involved. You don't need to own or adopt a horse to help. All you need is a love for equine in general.

501(c)(3) non-profit Equine Humane Organization Please check our web site at www.horsehavenoftn.com for all the latest case files and adoptable equine.

I'd like to meet:

Have you always dreamed of owning a horse? Would you love to have one of your own but circumstances don’t allow it? Would you like to care for one but don’t have the time? Then our Virtual Sponsorship Program is for you! Help provide assistance for special needs horse that HHT has not been able to find a forever home for.

Music:

"Love animals. God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, do not harass them, do not deprive them of their happiness, do not work against God's intention." --- Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamozov..

Movies:

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead

Television:

This is an unauthorized support site for Horse Haven of TN. Any opinions expressed on this site are my own personal views. I do not represent Horse Haven of TN , or speak on the organization's behalf. Many of the photos in this page show animals ready for adoption only. For information about criminal cases or animals still in court please see the website. I am only a volunteer and wish only to offer my continued support of their efforts, as well as help spread knowledge of their mission. There are many volunteers rotating through shifts every day (under the direction of the director and the board) to ensure all the horse’s daily needs are met and the grounds are properly maintained. Check out some of the shelter residents in the photo section. For additional photos and details, visit the official website...

Books:

"The only way stop excessive breeding is to take away the financial incentive that slaughter provides and then to back rigid enforcement of existing cruelty laws. We cannot wish our way out of abuse and neglect any more than we can slaughter our way out of it. ~ John Holland ~

Heroes:

Horse Haven of Tennessee, our HHT gives you the unique opportunity to help with the rehabilitation of those horses that have been rescued. Horses who have been severely neglected, abused, or are unwanted by their families. Horses that must be cared for while awaiting the long, drawn out legal process. With your help we restore their health and trust in humans and try to place them with families who will love and care for them. Maybe you can’t be there physically, but you can help them through our Virtual Equine Sponsorship Program.
