The mission of protecting horses, or animals in general is not a new idea. However, the plan for the International League for the Protection of Horses - Michigan is unique. We rehabilitate horses so that they may be enjoyed and live full, happy lives. ILPH - MI is not a sanctuary, as the horses are fully evaluated by the staff and are then placed in an environment that is best for them.
