My Interests

The majority of my work is focused on public relations, promotions, event coordinating, entertainment and fundraising in the East Coast area.

I'd like to meet:

..

Music:

I love all genres of music, but some of my favorites are Salsa, Bomba & Plena, Danza (Spanish Waltz), Jazz, Cumbia, Flamenco just to name a few.

What I love even more is DANCING!

Television:

My favorite tv shows are Girlfriends, Frazier and most of the judge shows. Favorite Spanish show is Caso Cerrado. I have a passion for old movies and tv shows such as All in the Family, Good Times, M*A*S*H and What's Happening.

Books:

My favorite book ever is 'Custer Died For Your Sins An Indian Manifesto" by Vine Deloria, Jr.

"With great humor and cutting wit Deloria debunks the stereotype of the Native American of feather and beads and Hollywood fame. Detailing the interaction of Native Americans with United States government agencies, treaties, Christian churches and social sciences."

Vine Deloria, Jr. is the former Executive Director of the National Congress of American Indians. He is a professor of American Indian Studies, History, Law and Political Science at the University of Boulder, Colorado.

Heroes:

My heroes are my precious mother for teaching me to respect myself and be proud of who and what I have accomplished. My father for teaching me to be strong regardless the struggles ahead.
We must begin to look within our own family structure for hereos instead of looking at the TV or videos. We must reflect ourselves in the mirror and see the truth of our beginning.
We must learn to love ourselves and respect ourselves, especially the women and young women. We must know our place in this world. We make our own decisions and with these decisions come good or bad feedback, but it is our decisions that make us who we are.
Our heroes guide us through life marking the path we should take. Pray to the Almighty and then learn how to listen to Him for answers. Stop in the morning and give Him thanks for another day of life. Go to bed and give Him thanks for another day of sharing our lives with others. Regardless our situation, He is ALWAYS with us.
As a Buddhist, I believe in kharma so please don't wish or do harm to others because it will return to you and when it does it is never good.
