Formed as a means of escape from the daily toils of drudgery and dirty tourist cafes.Babyrosebuds songs come from far and distant lands. Grasshoppers chant in the night where groves of roses and myrtles grow and Insect ladies come alive to dance.The midnight hour comes and a boat horn sounds as a reminder of the foggy enchanted evenings. Babyrosebud was born in the ninth ward of New Orleans snugggled in the curve of the mississippi river.Our first record Fireflies was recorded by our dear friend Quintron in the spellcaster lodge.Our second record Shipwreck was recorded in the year of the monkey 2004 by the lovely Andrew Gilchrist.Both of our recordings feature The Accorgan, an italian accordion-organ as well as a four piece trap set.Please put on your fancy party hat and shoes and enjoy your rosebud recorded dances complete with lions, tigers, jet planes ,mermaids and horses.Both of our records are availiable at our website www.babyrosebud.com as well as our tour dates Thank you for listening...
