Born in the summer of 07, Live Well was born from the womb of the New South right off old Highway 8 just outside of Auburn Georgia. Comprised of Shanon Morris and Andy Thompson, Live Well brings a new twist, to a new tune, and a breath of fresh acoustic air to contemporary music. Live Well takes inspiration from some of the greatest song writers of the past and modern times, including Waylon Jennings, Guy Clark, Mike Cooley & Jay Farrar just to name a few, the guys have taken their life stories and experiences and put them down to be enjoyed by anyone who will take a break and take the time to listen to them play. A little too country for rock and roll and a little too muddy for 21st century country music, Live Well offers a different view of the world that will take you up, take you down and then bring you right back to where you need to be.These guys come from a place where you drink Cold Gold from an old cooler, whiskey by the handle and home made wine by the bottle. Back on the local garage tour fresh off of recording their first album Whiskey, Bullets & Beer; Live Well is busy writing their next set of tunes. The guys have taken experiences from all over the world and combined them with sweet acoustic jams to create songs that are as much fun to listen to as they are to play. Just sit down by the fire pit, pull up a stump, crack open whatever you’re having and enjoy. The regular crew will be there, telling stories and laughing like hell.
