I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Song writin', guitar pickin', Jennifer Nicole and music lovin', peanut and bar-be-que eatin', beer drinkin', steel eyed starin', ornery and mean, warm and gentle, Western watchin', woman appreciating, sailor mouthed, non-religious, " Mister, I wouldn't do that if I was you " , God fearin' summa bitch.

My Interests

I have this thing with Trains and Railroads, Alot of the rhythms and sounds in old music, mainly blues, was inspired by trains, and they symbolize going somewhere else, getting away from where your at, Me and my fiance love getting the hell away from where we're at and one day we will get away and never look back, except holidays, me and my woman are Austin bound. If I'm not working or spending time with my woman, my time is spent listening to music, pickin' and playin' my guitar, or songwriting, I just write when it comes, sometimes its out of knowhere other times its days or weeks in the making, They all usually live a little before they get on paper or my guitar.

I'd like to meet:

Other songwriters, pickers (guitar, mandolin, banjo, etc.), music lovers, people/bands/artist/that promote and preserve the rich/great blues, country, bluegrass, folk and traditional music legacy, the man in the mirror, Theodore the talking Racoon and Austin, Texas.

Music:

Just take a look at some of my friend pages, Pretty much sums up what I'm into, Good Songwriters, All those Songwriters from Texas ( Man those Texans can write a song ) There is to many Great songwriters from that state to list them all, Bluegrass, Folk, Classic Country ( you know, before it was pop ), and Blues, mainly the pre electric acoustic stuff ( The kind of blues people played at the end of the day to ward off there demons or, invite them in ) again, the list is to big.

Movies:

Good ones, anything with a good story, good acting and interesting characters, However I'm really into westerns, especially the Clint Eastwood films, Some favorites are, Pale Rider, High Plains Drifter, Hang 'em' High, and Unforgiven, Other Favorites, 310 to Yuma( the original and the remake ), Open Range, Wyatt Earp, and The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford( I guess it's a book as well, haven't read it ).

Television:

Not alot of it, When I do it is usually The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, The Food Network and the series Lost.
