Unfortunately, the FDG has been put on hold due to the closing of our favorite independent coffee shop (where we used to hold meetings) and because of our extreme busyness with other feminist organizations and activist endeavors. But we do see and fully understand the importance of this group to get started again. Keep checking in and within the month, the FDG will be meeting again weekly. Thank you to everyone who has given it so much support.
If you know of a great coffee shop/cafe that you think would work well for the Feminist Discussion Group, message us and let us know! We prefer places with affordable food/drinks, centrally located, quiet enough to hear each other speak, and a place that doesn't mind a big group of people meeting weekly.
We're a group of feminists who meet up weekly to discuss a variety of topics, and share our thoughts and ideas with each other. We care about creating positive change within ourselves and our wider community. So come, drink some coffee, smoke a cigarette or two, and enjoy some good conversation with some good people. A good time will be had, we promise.
