Hi, my name is SheÃla (sounds like Shyla). I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Chris, and a mother to our three beautiful boys- a 4 year-old, and 1 ½ -year old TWINS!
I have experienced deep pain, and I have experienced abundant joy. Through the trials that life has brought my way, faith and hope have always carried me through. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that every obstacle in life, no matter how painful, is an opportunity for growth.
In June of 2007, I became aware of a baby boy who was hurt. My heart longed to help him and his family. So, my husband and I began a website to raise money and awareness for this little boy and his family (www.MySpace/HopeAndSupport, formerly www.myspace.com/HelpKaleb) . It exploded very quickly. As the effort grew, so did the need for staff! The page has since expanded to help other families in need, and we have teamed up with McGill Charities in order reach out to even more hurting hearts, in hopes of offering hope and help to the world around us.
I know that we can help these families. I believe in prayer. I believe that God answers prayer. I believe that many times God uses the humans around us to show us His love, and I believe that His love changes people. We can all do something! We CAN make a difference! We can spread awareness about SBS and others causes. We CAN change the world around us, making it a better place for our children and grandchildren. PLEASE help me help these families! PLEASE pray for Kaleb, Candace, and the others! Please spread the word- the more people who know about their needs, the more people who will have the opportunity to help them!
