When I was a child, I started playing some percussions with my school friends, so we formed our first instrumental band. Then I tried to learn to play drums by ear and after few years I started singing and playing drums at the same time. But one day I decided to stop playing drums for a while and I became just a singer. I've never studied music theory nor voice technique in my life…( 'cause of fuckin' money!). I've been singing for many years in different 70's rock cover bands and we've made quite a lot of noise playing Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Led Zeppelin etc… In 1988, I was the singer of an Italian progressive rock band called SOUNDPROOF RED; then the name of the band changed to CAGE, and together we made our first album in 1993, entitled The feeble-minded man and produced by Toast Records (Torino). http://www.cagemusic.it .After this very hard though interesting experience, I decided to leave the band and in 1994 I met and played with three incredible and superlative musicians in a cover band called EGO: Guido Carli was on the drums (Umberto Smaila, Irene Fornaciari, etc.), Antonello Pudva on the guitar (Giorgio Gaber, Maurizio Solieri, Burzum, Daniele Tedeschi, etc.) and Andrea Cozzani on the bass (Planet Funk, Zucchero Fornaciari, etc.). In 1995, together with some musicians of CAGE and many unknown artists, I was the lead voice in an original MUSICAL inspired to the Pink Floyd Opera The Wall. In 1995-96, I formed my original band called ARSIVIVI; I wrote most of the music and lyrics of the band and we've changed some members of the lineup in the last few years, but we're still alive! http://sakawakka.interfree.it/ .In 2000, I played percussions and did back vocals in a folk band called BEDEDEUM and around June 2002 I've recorded, edited and mixed their first CD, Brevistele. www.bededeum.itThat same year, I met the wonderful movie director Michele Rosania, that asked me to rearrange some songs from the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, because he had to shoot a short movie about it. Then I made the complete soundtrack of one of his movies entitled FILL A GAP. From 2003 to 2004 I was the lead voice in the DANIELE TEDESCHI BAND (Daniele "La Roccia" was the most popular drummer of Vasco Rossi. ).At the moment, I'm the drummer of the rock'n roll band called THE VICIOUS CLUB ( www.thevicious.org ) and I'm still working with Michele Rosania in a new movie production entitled EUTANASIA D'AMORE, that we will present in Florence and Cremona around December 2007.
