God has compelled us to to reach out and touch these strangers among our midst; God's Forgotten Children. This outreach project is lead by a team of faithful devoted disciples. Our mission is to spread God's love while restoring hope and dignity to a ailing population in need of healing. LA's vast homeless situation has reached epidemic proportions and we now stand at the front lines armed with giving hands and open hearts. This neglected crisis forces 88000 individuals to call the public domain their home. There is a growing urgency to bring awareness and debunk stereotypes. There is much disdain about homeless people in the minds of many including many Christians. Sure many are drug addicts, alcoholics, some perhaps mentally unstable, but the thing to remember is that in every sec of society, rich or poor, one will encounter the same diverse demographic of personality types and attitudes.Bottom line they are God's children and victims who are in need of God's love and we are His servants and His hands.This group of committed disciples meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. We are currently working with non-profit organizations across Los Angeles and the greater metropolitan region. We are also expanding our outreach program to encompass other organizations in need of God's love. We welcome all newcomers who have felt compelled by the Holy Spirit to pick their cross and serve. Our hearts welcome these Lost Souls into dialog and friendship. Let us proceed with the same compassion that our Father has shown us.
