Tara B is a singer/songwriter from San Diego, CA. She started singing at a young age and was always involved in the performing arts. She has been featured in different showcases and fronted a couple Top40 bands. Tara obtained much recording experience through demos for other writers. Finding her niche as a solo artist took her in a whole new direction. She had the chance to perform the Nat'l Anthem at different sporting events; a SKUSA race in Reno, NV and most recently, a Pro. Boxing match in Irvine, CA. When given the opportunity to make an album, Tara was thrilled and knew that she wanted to incorporate as many diverse songs as possible. Knowing how much she loves to dance, some dance songs were a must. It was important to her to stay true to herself and the many facets of her personality. So, along with the fun, flirty, strong, and "attitude" dance, she mixed in some mid tempo self awareness, social conscious songs, and some lyrically meaningful ballads. This album, like Tara, has a carefree side and a deeper side. It promises to deliver something for everyone. She co wrote all of the lyrics and hopes to touch people around the world someday through the songs. Recording of the album was completed in Dec. 2007. and should be ready for release in early to mid Spring 2008. As for the stage name -- No, her last name doesn't even start with a "B". When she was a little girl, her mom nicknamed her Tara Mc Bee... Other than the fact her middle name is Michelle, her mom doesn't even know where the Bee came from. Maybe a premonition of Tara becoming a singing bee?? Anyway, everyone thought that Tara B sounded catchy, so there ya have it. The "Mc" went away along time ago. Probably a good thing. or else her destiny might've been as a new sandwich at McDonald's.
