After 4 reclusive years of engineering their signature back-breaking sound, Frontline Soundsystem finally have their fingers on the trigger, target in sight and the warning is pretty clear: they are very, very loaded.
Having resisted the mainstream and operating under the radar, the boys from Singapore have earned themselves their own stripes and they are now, more than ever, ready to run riot. After hijacking listeners from across the globe via the information superhighway, subsequently converting innocent bystanders into loyalists, Frontline Soundsystem gained themselves the momentum, support and seals of approval to take their music to the overground, stamp their flag on the field and grab the unsuspecting Asian Underground scene by the throat.
With the unapologetic intensity of tracks like 'Unify' and 'Guernika', Frontline Soundsystem split atoms with their base assault of drum&bass, jungle and electronica. The beats are duct-taped tight with dub-punk bass, gagged around the mouth with the sounds of the dhol, tabla and other Bhangra aural elements, strapped with heavy guitar riffs and tied-shut around the eyes with fierce rapid-fire ragga vocals that bears the soul of a protestant burning barricades.
Fired up with global/social consciousness and are always psyched for a good political fistfight anytime, the band aims to raise the Richter scale in 07’.Changes may take up to 2 mins to show on your profile
