GOD,My MOM, my DAD, Sydney Poitier, Malcom X, and my Great x 4= parents John and Jane Walls, a slave and former slave owner who were founders of the first refugee camp in Canada. They risked life and liberty to find a better world in each other. They helped other slaves escape and rebulid new lives in Canada. Thank you both for setting a longtime family tradition of never being afraid to try, follwing your heart, and seeing beyond color to the true essence of a person. I only hope to make you proud and carry it on.If you are ever interested in a little history lesson check out the family page at http://www.undergroundrailroadmuseum.com/.Oh yeah and thanks to all those people who have done me wrong, "there's no better lesson then learning the hard way".
