About Me

Make me laugh and you've won me over. I love to laugh. I think it is the best medicine for everything. In turn, I like to make others laugh. I fancy myself a witty individual, a bit savvy and overly sarcastic. I'm workin' on it. Well, I say that, but really it's just something one says when there's no way in hell they're changing the way they are. I value my friends, family and my cat above it all. I would throw God in there, but I'm not a religious person and I'm not going to lie and say I am. We all find religion where it lies and mine just so happens not to be with the Christian idea of God. But hey, if that's where your at, more power to ya. I believe in Mother Nature and Mother Earth. (No I am NOT a hippy.) It's just that there's is nothing like this fine planet we got and I love it! And, for that reason I will also say that California is the place to be. Mountains, Ocean and beautiful sunshiny days. It's a great place to live. Every once in awhile I crave the need for a sweater and a fireplace and that's when Michigan comes to mind. My one and only true home. It's a beautiful state and I miss it a lot sometimes. Plus, 90% of my family is there. If only Michigan were a little closer. I love to cook. I'm in culinary school now and loving every second. If you're looking for a personal chef, give me a few months and I'm yours. Currently, if you're in the market for an excellent chocolate chip cookie, some say that's my forte and I'd be happy to bake you a batch! I collect pez dispensers and fortunes from fortune cookies. Even if they're bad. I keep too much stuff and should buy less. I'm a girl in no traditional sense and I like the options that leaves. There is so much more to know, but I can't write it all down just now. Maybe sometime I will publish my memoirs and you can say, "I saw her on MySpace!"
You Belong in San Francisco
You crave an eclectic, urban environment. You're half California, half NYC.
You're open minded, tolerant, and secretly think you're the best.
People may dismiss you as a hippie, but you're also progressive, interesting, and rich! Where Does Your Inner Californian Belong?

Where were you on Christmas?

I said that if I wrote this blog that it would contain a lot of swaring because that's all I can say when I think about the situation at hand.  I just want to scream curses to the heavens ...

V for Very Good

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go see V for Vendetta, starring the lovely Natalie Portman at her best and the chilling Hugo Weaving.    This movie is chocked full of "hot buttons." ...

Some more on that note

I realize that if work has the power to make me go from sane to tears in less than an hour that I'm putting too much stake in it.    I mean, let's just say it, I like what I do, but I don't...

Transitioning into 06

2006 seemed as good a time as any to write again.   You see, the first thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a writer.  Somewhere between college and being 29 that goal was los...
