Popaganda is brand spanking new alternative student club night in the heart of central london that happens at UCL UNION. It's run by a bunch of super cool kids who used to run kickass (now defunct) nights - under city lights club and i like it rare. These nights happened at London establishments such as the The Fly, Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, Salmon and Compass and FOPP.
Our nights feature superstar djs playing some of the most fantastic records around, with the odd special guest, playing tracks ranging from the leftfield-tastically obscure to some dancefloor slaying treats. DJs play after and in between the bands until 2am. Our nights feature some of the best up and coming/established bands playing live, including some of UCL's homegrown talent to open up the evening.
The night also features special guest dj hosts in the bar area, with bowls of sweets, balloons, visual projections and a big twister board amongst other fun activities/decorations. We like FUN/providing a haven for people who like hanging out with their friends, spending less money in london and watching great bands/listening and dancing to great music. If you like that too, come along.

The next night will be our last one in this academic year. Dont worry kids, there will be tonnes more next year on a monthly basis. And this exciting evening will feature poetry and spoken word performers, alongside seriously amazing bands and seriously amazing DJs, catering to the creative palate of the discerning student. Headlining this very special night is the unequivocally marvelousJONQUIL with main support from Serafina Steer and Over the Atlantic opening proceedings. DJing will be featuring none other than Matty from White Heat, Chris from Merok records and Daisy Howl from HOWL club! This night will happen on the 5th of June and is curated alongside our previous partners the incredible Young Writers Society, possibly UCL's best society, but hey, its not a competition. Popaganda happens at the newly refurbished and recently pimped up UCL UNION, on the second floor, every other TUESDAY. (Gordon Street - Euston Square/Euston/Warren Street tubes.) starting September 25th.
