And so far, all police have is a vague description."We've had victims wake up to see him in the house and he leaves from the house before officers can arrive," said Lt. William Whisney of the Compton Police Department.Summer has people thinking comfort instead of safety, and unfortunately open windows and doors have made it far too easy for this peeping tom to take it a step further."And that's scary because that's more than a peeping tom," resident Linda Koelman said. "That's breaking and entering."Until the suspect is caught, police are asking residents to lock their doors and windows and pay attention to who's hanging around."It also makes sense to talk to neighbors," Whisney said. "If they see anything around your house to call 911 right way and just get back to being neighbors and watching out for each other.""If you see something unusual in your neighborhood, it doesn't make any difference what time of the day or night it is, call us," he added. "That's what we're here for."Police said they do not have much of a description of the man, other than he's between 25 and 35 years old.
