Spiritual connections. You do not have to be weird to experience it.
The guy who wrote this: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
I have been a guitarist for 30 years. I love a ton of stuff. Ritchie Blackmore pretty much wrote the book for me. It was not until much later that I found out who wrote the book for him....the 3 most awesome words in the world: James Marshall Hendrix. Nod's to Allen Collins, Alex Lifeson, Michael Shenker and EVH. From the old school stuff like Deep Purple, Rainbow (Dio only) Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Rush, King's X, Dio, Skynyrd, Hendrix, and Kiss.(When you say "Beck" to me I think you're talking about Jeff.) From the "new" school I really love Tool, Perfect Circle and Sevendust. The new Andy Timmons record is the best guitar shit I've heard in years. There are also a bunch of kick ass bands and musicians around here (Nashville) that keep me inspired 24-7. Check out my website www.mikesimmonsband.com
