Established in 1995, Future Shock San Jose is one of three branches (along with Future Shock Oakland and Future Shock Marin) of youth hip-hop dance teams to professional dance troupe Culture Shock Oakland. Collectively nicknamed “The Shock Familyâ€, Future Shock dancers range from ages 8-18. For many of our dancers, Future Shock San Jose has been the first step in learning choreography, as well as dancing and performing on a hip-hop dance troupe.
