Future Shock is an inner-city youth outreach program developed to cultivate, through the power of dance: self-worth, confidence, artistic development, drug-free lifestyle, and academic achievements. This is applied with educational workshops, community outreach performances, dance intensives, in dept dance style history lessons, and the coalition between Culture Shock, parents and academic advisors.Through this we can impact the community and the advancement in our youth’s lifestyle by providing an alternate curriculum and a powerful medium to keep them off the streets and geared towards accomplishing dreams and goals.We offer dance instructions by numerous choreographers those of Culture Shock and in the professional industry. Classes range in a variety of styles such as video, hip-hop, break dancing, popping and krump as well as improving all around freestyle.
