About Me

Hey everybody! Thanks for visiting my MySpace! I’ve worked really hard this summer to produce this demo, and a full CD is in the works. I appreciate all of your comments and wish you all the best. Lots and lots of Love, Lindsy
The first of five, Lindsy Anton was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Her love and talent for music was detected very early and was very much encouraged. Performing whenever and wherever she could, Lindsy developed her talent and range until she turned 12. She began recording at the age of 12 at Limelight Recording Studios in Dickinson, Texas. She recorded 4 CD’s over a five year time span, still experimenting and expanding her abilities. Her first radio debut was at a station in Austin, TX. Finally, at the age of 16, in the summer of 2007, her latest demo was recorded in the Sonic Eden Studio with producer Mark Oliverius in Nashville, TN.
The first two songs on her demo, "Breakin’" and "Burnin’ Rubber", she co-wrote with Ashlee Hewitt, a member of an aspiring country duo, The Hewitt Sisters. The third, "Doin’ My Own Thing" was written by Gretchen Wilson and Kim Tribble. For a complete copy of Lindsy Anton’s demo, along with a full bio, pictures, and upcoming shows, please visit her official website at www.lindsyanton.com.

Lindsy Anton grew up for 3 years an only child. She was introduced to the Disney Princesses and talking became a thing of the past. Song was the only thing that came out of her mouth. 4 more siblings came along and Lindsy kept on singing, performing wherever anyone would let her. She was first introduced to country music, bluegrass style with the Dixie Chicks and then later on, LeAnn Rimes and Martina. Lindsy said goodbye to the Little Mermaid and Cinderella and welcomed a new family of country singers.
Recording her first album at 11 years old, Lindsy went into Limelight Studios in Dickinson, Texas and met her first producer, Don Westmoreland. He showed her around the studio and they got started. Don was blown away. Going on to record 5 more records, Lindsy’s voice was taking on a style of its own. "Working with Mr. Westmoreland was an amazing experience. To an eleven year old kid, he knew everything. I loved to watch him mix and mess around with the loads of music and sound recording equipment he had in his studio."
She turned 16 and a few months later was introduced to a member of the aspiring country duo, The Hewitt Sisters. Lindsy and Ashlee Hewitt wrote "Breakin" and "Burnin’ Rubber", the first two songs she would come to record on her new demo, soon to become a full album.
The summer of 2007, Lindsy flew to Nashville and recorded her demo in Sonic Eden Studios with producer Mark Oliverius. "Lindsy Anton packs a powerful vocal punch---she’ll be making terrific recordings for years to come." (Mark Oliverius)
