Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Orange music
Ok, my CD is finished, only the cover missing. I need now a company for the release...yet noone in sight! If you wish a copy (handmade and handsigned..who knows how much it will be worth in ten years, lol!), call on me and for some small money + shipping you can be one of the first to have it!
Many many thanks to my manager and dear friend CHRIS, who supported me all the way. I know he has much better things to do, but he always cares for the small people too. Kisses to him.
WOOOOO, my first video!! See it down below.
After years of absence from professional music I now have some more time to focus on it. It is an experiment. But I`d love to do some more over the years to come.
Since starting my new site on myspace.com so many new friends have joined and clicked on my music. Here, I have over 700 fans now. Work continues on the CD "Take Me Dancing", singing and writing. I just threw a few songs out and now it looks like more than a few fans might get a copy of the finished product. It's a gamble, but to realize how the interest has grown in such a short time, it's a shocker. Still I need support.
I send all my love to all my fans. I'd write all the names here but you know who you are. Sincerely, Rene Dupree, Rat's Nest.
I like to meet new ppl., almost everyone is welcome. Write me, comment me, critizise me, support me.

A bit about my musical career for those who are interested:
I started to play piano age 6, guitar from age 12, violin, bass, oboe followed. At Lord Byng Secondary Highschool in Vancouver I played oboe in the school orchestra and sang in the Church choire. My first band I had at age 14, playing guitar, bass, keyboards and I did the vocals. We covered the Beatles and Stones and many more. The bands name was "Pharohs", like the ancient lighttower in Alexandria (I like egyptian history). Several bands followed, going over jazz to folk.
VCC college in Vancouver was next, I played first oboe in the Vancouver Youth orchestra and the Delta Youth Orchestra. I sang in some commercials, at least it filled the pocket a bit.
