You will recognize me as the one going the way everyone else isn't going.
Welcome to The Duke Western
Im a songwriter and multi instrumentalist, I play guitar, drums and percussion, bass, keys, sing, engineer and tapdance - in fact - I played everything on the recordings your listening to right now in my lil room....
I play guitar and sing with The Square Pegs, and play guitar and sing in Toys in the Attic (Aerosmith Tribute).
Here's a paragraph about the things I've done - aka - bio:
I was a High school music major, a total band fag in every sense. I was in every school band there was on drums and/or guitar. Also was a college music major at OCC where my instrument was drumset. After graduating I went on the road with Toys in the Attic playing bass and then guitar for 3 years. Then I got a call from a small record label in tennessee to come play guitar in a traveling oldies group. I was 23 and had nothing to lose so I went. It was found out that I had engineering skills so I landed in a studio where I recorded Gospel tunes for Kerry Lee Lewis, (wife of Jerry Lee) and a few kia motors commercials as well as a PBS special. I returned to NY in 1999 and joined forces with Square Pegs playing guitar. In 2003 I started The Bufftones with Susan Royal, and Matt Zych - later replaced by Johnny Unconscious and we abbreviated our name to simply "The Tones". We went on to write and record a boatload of material and in 2005 our song "Heard It All B4" was released on KROCK stations statewide. These days Im playing some gigs and focusing on my writing again, as well as engineering and producing fun.
Groups I've worked with/Jammed with/ Produced/engineered:
Smocks Blues, Jacqui and the UFO's, Toys In The Attic, Square Pegs, The Tones, Merit (Aux Records), Bobby Freeman (MCI Records), Tsunami (Beyond Records), UVTV (Live Recording Post Prduction), Feeding Affliction
