About Me

Basically, this a one person operation, recording in 'myhumblelittlerecordingspace' in the third floor of my house.I play guitar, mandolin, some banjo, keyboard, drums, and various and sundry other 'implements of mass destruction'. My first ax was my dad's guitar, WAY back when....Hope you enjoy the tunes...drop me a line and let me know what you think! Tom

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Me, me, me, me and me.... ;P
Influences: Weened on the Grateful Dead when I was very, VERY young...(I think my folks took me to my first Dead show when I was about two years old--that puts the date at around 1966...Jerry...PigPen...OMG!!!)...
Since then I've listened to a lot of 'classic' rock, and jazz (the two favorite pieces of vinyl that I own, and still enjoy, are Joni Mitchells' 'Blue', and Miles Davis' 'Kind of Blue')....
I'm really into Fairport, Pentangle, Steeleye Span, the 'bunch' and all those guys, for years now...I still listen to a lot of John Renbourn, and I love Richard Thompsons latest album...my favorite Richard Thompson is currently Vincent Black Lightning '52...
Still thinking about attending the Cropredy Festival one of these days...
Lately listening to a lot of (traditional) bluegrass, and 'nouveau' bluegrass. I really like Bill Monroe, and Del McCoury, as well as David Grisman, Bela Fleck, and Tony Trischka. The Pizza Tapes were great!...
My most recent discoveries that I'm REALLY into are 'Old Crow Medicine Show' and Old School Freight Train'. I really Love OSFTs' version of 'Superstitious'....
