Geezer music! I mostly listen to stuff from the 60's through the 80's, but I have a lot of more current artists that I like as well. Some of my favorites: Prince, John Mayer, Nina Simone, Sara Bareilles, Fiest,Earth, Wind & Fire, Fall Out Boy, Elton John, Amy Winehouse, Arcade Fire, Poison, Pat Benatar, Fergie, Kanye West, U2, REM, Aerosmith, The Clash, Radiohead.
Movies:
I really hate anything with Vin Diesel, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, or some retarded action guy who can't act. Gratuitous violence just ain't my thang.My favorite movie is Gone With The Wind. I also liked The Shawshank Redemption, Rudy, Sling Blade, Steel Magnolias, The Seven Year Itch, A Streetcar Named Desire, Rainman, Requiem For A Dream, Pulp Fiction, The Cable Guy, The Wedding Singer, Wedding Crashers, and for the sake of a girly movie, we'll say Pretty Woman - c'mon, she's a girly prostitute! Television:
I don't watch live television much: I'm addicted to my DVR. When I do watch stuff, it's mainly HBO and Showtime original series: Entourage, Sex and the City, The L Word, Californication, The Tudors, Queer as Folk, Six Feet Under, etc. Too bad some of those are are no longer on the air, but at least HBO and Showtime are nice enough to have them on their "On Demand" section, so those of us who can't live without those shows can get our daily fix. I also like watching the Food Network, except for anything featuring Rachael Ray, since she is about as appealing to me as fingernails on a chalkboard. I wish she'd just fall off the face of the earth. I also like Law & Order: SVU, The Office (just started watching it recently, and I think I may start setting it to record on our DVR), and a lot of other shows that I would be embarrassed to even list on here, since they're borderline guilty pleasures.
