Upon graduating from the University of Cincinnati, I began my professional career in the Food and Beverage industry as a Controller, excelling quickly to Operations Manager for Sodexho-Marriott at the Cincinnati Zoo.
In 2001, I arrived in Las Vegas. Breaking ground as a promoter for the House of Blues and Spundae, I also assisted in the construction of Light, Bellagio’s premier nightclub. Through my ever growing Rolodex of contacts, I landed the position of Doorman at Randy Gerber’s first Las Vegas venture, Whiskey Sky. During this time, I regularly commuted to Hollywood, CA to run the door of the A-List Nightclub run by Jon Orlando, the son of legendary entertainer, Tony Orlando.
In the summer of 2002, the opportunity came to work at Las Vegas’ first underground nightclub. Baby’s, in the Hard Rock Hotel, provided me the liberty to run the door and VIP services, manage promotions, as well as, assist the General Manager in nightly operations of the club. Concurrently, I extended my talents to hosting at Foundation Room’s Godspeed on Monday nights in Mandalay Bay.
By 2004, an exciting new change unveiled the opening of Body English, Hard Rock Hotel’s lavishly remodeled nightclub where my familiar appearance continued to greet eager guests.
In January of 2007, I faced the decision of either staying with the Hard Rock under the new management of the Morgan’s Hotel Group or leaving my 5 year term and moving forward to new opportunities.
February welcomed me to a new home in the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino. As a Senior Host/Lead Doorman, I could be found at the gates of TAO Nightclub greeting club goers and familiar faces with the same enthusiasm and enterprise for which I have become known for over the years.
Begining in March of 2008, I accepted the Director of VIP Marketing position for TAO Beach. I look forward to the advancement within the company and I welcome you all to another truly amazing venue this summer.
