About Me

I'm a writer and filmmaker and have two scripts (feature film screenplays) that I'm shopping in LA and London. My script "Monstrous Passions -- The Life of Mary Shelley" won the 2007 Script Pimp grand prize and was also a winner in the 2007 Scriptapalooza competition. My other script, "IMPS" won the FirstGlance Screenwriting Competition in 2007. I'm hoping to sell one soon! I'm also looking for an agent or manager.I'm from LA but have been living in London since 2003, though I've recently returned to LA because my visa expired. I miss it terribly! I love London, though LA is cool too.

My Interests

Men, travel, writing, viewing great films, reading great books.

I'd like to meet:

Artistic, open-minded people, or anyone who's a good person. I'd especially like to meet people from Britain or Europe.

Music:

Currently I like The Coral. Also John Simm's band, Magic Alex, and alternative rock in general. I also like classical music and opera.

Movies:

I like all genre of films as long as they are well made.

Television:

Doctor Who (new series), Torchwood, Life on Mars, Peep Show, Spaced, Hyperdrive, Green Wing -- British programs (programmes?) mostly. And "House" because of Hugh Laurie.

Books:

Big Russian tomes like "War and Peace." Seriously. Literary fiction and historical fiction.

Heroes:

I don't have "heroes" per se, but John Simm is currently my favorite actor -- he's amazing.
