About Me

NaySayer is the best looking band EVER! According to Connie! I'm the guy who hangs out with a group of musicians...the drummer!V$ is the proud father of two, ages 11 and 7. They stink up the house, leave hair EVERYWHERE, and piss on the floor to greet me as I come through the door. What can I say...my dogs love me. As an actor, I've performed in over 30 plays in the past 8 years, as well as Directing 8 productions. As the Technical Director @ the Blue Room, I built the sets and designed the lights for almost every show. I retired as TD in 2006. As a morning radio show host, I annoyed people to the point where they would rather get out of bed and go to their crappy job...rather than listen to me! Not only was I on 106.7 ZROCK, but I also cranked out the classic rock on Thunder 100.7 for 4 years! I took a job as Production Director for Radio Chico, Mapleton Communications, in February 2007 (KFM, KPIG, Point, KALF). I am currently the afternoon jock on 93.9 KFM from 3 til 6 weekdays and the night jock on 107FM The Point from 7 til midnight. Well...that's all I got. Lemme know if I forgot anything. Wait...I just remembered, I also handle promotions at Normal Street Bar. I promote the FREE live music on Monday, host the FREE raffle on Thursday, and bartend on Sunday night. Come in and see me sometime. This is me during a rehearsal for Assasins at the Blue Room, in deep thought over what to have for dinner!

My Interests

Dain's hair, bologna, drums, acting and playing music. I love the feeling I get when I'm on stage. I have been acting in Chico for more than 8 years now and I can't seem to stop. I don't think I was bitten by the acting bug...rather it burrowed under my skin where it lives with its babies. Also love playin drums. I've played in several bands since I was 16. Someday the Eckhart, Northan, Votava band will explode and NaySayer will dominate the planet soon! You bring ear plugs and we'll bring the rawk! BTW...for those in "the know" the "Lady with the Baby" is MOVING! (Or is she? I'll keep you posted. I think she was just trying to trick us.)No worries, I'll be moving soon...so goodbye Lady!

I'd like to meet:

Lindsay Lohan about 2 years ago! Please eat a cheeseburger, girl! Christopher Walken so I can...DO...a horrible imPRESSION...of...HIM. Kevin "Cletus" Federline so I can bitch slap his lazy gold diggin' ass! (Actually, these days I'd probably give him props for being a loving father!) Let us not forget Jon Stewart, Dave Chappelle, and Vince Vaughn. I'd also love to have cocktails with Ron White, Lewis Black and Dave Attel. (I'd say Dane Cook...but I don't think he drinks. He could just be the entertainment.) People I have already met include, but are not limited to: All members of AIC & Fugazi, Anthony & Flea from RHCP, Greg & Bobby from Bad Religion, Rev. Horton Heat, ZZ Top, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, John Stamos and the Beach Boys, Papa Roach, Seether, Green Day, Crossfade, Ozomatli, B-Side Players, Dick Dale, Trapt, Gwen, Dave Mason, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Willie Nelson, Faith Hill, Keanu, Scott Thompson, Charleton Heston, Mike Metzger, Adam Corrola, Kareem, Magic, & Shaq.

Music:

Sometimes. Usually I prefer listening to my own voice! But I try to keep my ears open for different stuff. Here's what I like: Bad Religion, Ben Harper, Fugazi, Radiohead, Black Sabbath, The Clash, One Block Radius, Rush, The Police, Primus, Bloodhound Gang, The Old 97's, QOTSA, Beck, SOAD, Elliott Smith, Al Green, NOFX, Pennywise, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, The Who, AIC, Pantera, Tool, Mason Jennings, Against Me!, and many more. I generally listen to bands with kick ass drummers. Which leads me to a question...what do you call a guy who hangs out with a group of musicians...the drummer!

Movies:

Touch of Evil, Fletch, The Jerk, Office Space, Clerks, Raising Arizona, Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, Big Lebowski, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Reservoir Dogs, Happy Gilmore, Shawshank Redemption, True Romance, & V for Vendetta!

Television:

Anything on Comedy Central. Especially the Daily, Colbert Report (It's French Bitches!) and Reno 911. Also watch ESPN when I get "jock itch," mostly basketball, football, and hockey. Go Lakers!

Books:

Yeah...right! Like I have time to read anything! Unless it's a take-out menu or a script for a play I'm working on...which is like, all the time! I suppose I might read a newspaper or mag on the can sometimes, too.

Heroes:

James Dean, Jack Black, Dain Sandoval, Erik Estrada, Mayim Bialick, David Hasselhoff, and Scott Stapp of Creed!
