Well, It all started around the age of 12. Sadly I got onto hip hop via RapTrax, Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer (lol). My first concert was Beastie Boys, (yeah) :) Then I started listening to Snoop, Spice 1, Ghetto Boyz, Gravediggaz, Lords of the Undergroud, Roots and really began to love hip hop, my family and friends used to always make fun of me (some still do) they figured it was a phase and I would slowly join everyone else in listening to "normal" music. Well its 15 yrs later, and I love hip hop more than ever.I Moved to Victoria from Vancouver in 2004 and dig the scene over here aot. I don't like alot of music on the radio so I generally listen to iTunes/Beatbasement/idependant Hip Hop, they have some good old tracks and new ones as well. Also Friday night's is "THE CORNER" concious hip hop station 101.9FM (DOPE)thats me, and the page in a nutshell, enjoy and support that real hip hop people!
