About Me

What can I say, its all about the music. I do band, CD, and venue reviews. Ive done over 100 band review and passed 10,000 miles on what I call the WIBANDS TOUR. If Im not at a live band you can usually find me..................well............sleeping. Ive seen so many great bands and met so many great people: Dave Ellefson, Jane Wiedlin, Jimmie Van Zant, and Joe Lynn Turner just to name a few. Local bands CLEAR BLUE BETTY, DAD THE PLOW, AARON WILLAIMS & THE HOODOO, and SUNSPOT are some of my favorites. Im not just limited to WI bands though.......Seattle rockers HONEY TONGUE, Minnesota bands HARSH REALITY & OUIJA RADIO, and Chicago stars DOT DOT DOT are also on my favorites list. My Interests

Of coarse my first love is the live music scene, after that, I love movies, reading on occasion, being outside (when its warm), I just got into UW womans hockey, I hate my job and love my family. My favorite hangout is the Ivory Room in Madison and if Im off on the weekend thats where you will find me on Thursday nights. None of my friends go by their real names, my yellow Jeep has "Clwnboy" plates and I own a $100 FX lightsaber. What do you expect from someone named Clownboy?............

Id like to meet: Jack Nicholson..... Sandra Bullock..... Princess Di (when she was alive)..... Paul and Gene (KISS)..... anybody from the Super Bowl Champion PITTSBURG STEELERS!!..... Jen from Seattle's HONEY TONGUE (Ive met her three times but that wasnt enough)..... KATE BECKINSALE.... and UW hockey player Erika Lawler.

Music:

I play the drums (well at least I used to) and I listen to everything from AIR SUPPLY and VAN HALEN to STEELY DAN and MOTLEY CRUE.

Movies:

So many to name: All the STAR WARS, ROCKY, LETHAL WEAPON, LORD OF THE RINGS and INDIANA JONES movies. 13 DAYS, PULP FICTION, SON OF THE MORNING STAR, BRAVEHEART, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, JAWS, THE ALAMO, A FEW GOOD MEN, and anything 80s like FOOTLOOSE and ST ELMO'S FIRE.

Television:

Dont watch TV.

Books:

Complete stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe.

Heroes:

Anybody that gets up on that stage and does their thing!!
