About Me

I'm just a girl who forgot to grow up and get a real job. I'm a singer. I'm a songwriter. A dreamer. A friend. That is who I am. I do what I love and I pray that people like my songs enough to buy them and tell their friends about me. I have had the pleasure of opening for some famous folks and have played the worlds largest music festival (Summerfest) as well as many other high caliber events. I've moved about a hundred times in my life, spent many years in Nashville with all the other songwriters trying to make it and I have sat across from executives who have told me to go home. I did go home, but only to change my shoes for the long road ahead. lol. I am very aware of how blessed I am to be able to play music for a living and I do not take that for granted. Yes, sometimes I go hungry, but I never go hungry for long. I have an unbelievable amount of love that is showered on me daily, a lot of which comes through myspace. I am not afraid of hard work... if you know me... you know that.

Troye Shanks will no longer be playing in The Jessi Lynn Band. I wish him well in his adventure in The Trailer Kings, his newly formed band. He has a lot on his plate and I hope that he succeeds...
