Partying at home with mye needle and thread (ouch!); writing & then reading what ii wrote & then re-writing what ii read; watching martial art competitions; re-cycling (not to be confused with bi-cycling); and other creative, fun stuff that keeps my ass and couch as one.
I'd like to meet:
a saner version of mye-self.

Music:
Heavy on the rock (not metal), extremely light on that rap crap with a medium dose of the old, old stuff (pre-1850, i.e. Mozart, Vivaldi and Brahms). Also, ii delight in classic Italian and Celtic music. And Motown never hurt anyone when trying to get in the mood (to eat - that is).
Movies:
Love the classics: GONE WITH THE WIND & THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939), WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? (1962), ENTER THE DRAGON (1971?), THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION (1994), HEAT (1995), SCARFACE (1982?) and The GODFATHERs (especially no. II) - DeNiro and Pacino - enough said. Bruce Lee (the Great One) and Jet Li. II count the following directors among mye favorites: Scorsese, Spike Lee and that TITANIC dude - Cameron (Diaz).
Television:
Any channel you need cable for (esp. the HISTORY, SCIENCE, BIOGRAPHY, and Porn-On-Demand channels) - just kidding about that last one.;-) Also, ii find mye-self watching a lot of PBS - don't ask why (some things are not meant to be understood) and ii miss King of Queens.
Books:
I KNOW WHY THE CAGED BIRD SINGS, THE COLOR PURPLE (and movie), Sonnets by SHAKESPEARE, Poetry by Emily DICKINSON, Nikki GIOVANNI, Maya ANGELOU, Walt WHITMAN, and Edgar Allen POE, Short Stories by Stephen KING, Fairy Tales by BROTHERS GRIMM, and on a personal note, everything ii've ever written (well, almost everything). Art, Writing, Sewing AND History, Science, Mathematical Theory AND Martial Arts books (how's that for eclectic - or confused?).
