People of like minds and interests-My 35th Birthday is on a Tuesday SO I better see you all the weekend before at these events-
Is good to listen to every once in awhile.
Some movies I liked-Can't forget this one-Love Object, Kikujiro, Leolo, Ridicule, Love me if you dare, Farinelli, Antonia's Line, Shower, Tie me up tie me down, Women on the edge of a nervous breakdown, Live Flesh, All about my mother,The cook the thief his wife and her lover, The Piano Teacher (for all you Secretary fans), Red Firecracker green firecracker, Eat drink man woman, Sex and Lucia, Farewell my concubine, Immortal beloved, American Beauty, The shipping news, 28 days later, Dead Ringers, Birdy, and I'll try to think of more as time goes on. Of course I'm a horror/sci-fi fan-especially 60/70's ones -The Thing, Blade runner (mmm Rutger Hauer), Logan's run, Planet of the Apes, Alien,The little girl that lives down the lane, Dark night of the scarecrow, The monster club (Vincent Price was a god), Flowers for Algernon-Charly was better, Harold and Maude, Jaws, Carrie, Willard, Orca. Lots of classics like Wuthering Heights, Dr. Zhivago, A patch of blue, Raisin in the sun. A movie not many people have seen but is worth it is 1934's Death takes a holiday-I was surprised when Neil Gaiman did his version and I loved it. This list will continue as my mind and time allow.
Animal cops/precinct mostly-embedded collars mess with my mind! I'd like to know what the heck happened to emergency vetS. Meerkat Manor simply for the noises they make. If, per chance, you haven't watched "Blue Planet" you're a dweeeb.
Are good to read every once in a while. Eons ago one of the best friends I ever had gave me-One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Most of what I read is non-fiction.
