In my opinion, television programming has become trite, moronic and politically one-sided. It is a sedative like scapegoat for actual cognitive functioning. When I don’t feel like logging on, I only watch the news for a moment or two to make sure the world hasn't ended and no one bothered to inform me. That's not even mentioning the massive bombardment of psychologically manipulative commercials and product placement for items that won’t make you any cooler nor pseudo-ailments for which you require life-long anesthetizing. And to answer your brewing question, Yes I am a hoot at parties.
Well, at least they put Family Guy back on the air, but Farscape, X-Files, Serial Experiments Lain, Fooly Cooly, The Young Ones, Millennium and Fushigi Yuugi are long gone.
