School Shooter: In His Own Words

A novel by Mark Frye

About Me

Born and raised in West Virginia, I ran from there to enlist in the Marine Corps, where after four years of dissipation, I got married, earned a teaching degree, and moved to the beach. I've been a school librarian/media specialist for twelve years. I really enjoy reading, writing, lifting, hunting, laughing, watching movies and television, and my family. I have 2.5 children, a wife, and one dog. No, I'm actually not boring, but eccentric, manic, vibrant, jubilant, and lots of other spastic adverbs. I want to take over the world when I grow up with my favorite rock music and my writing.
My biggest writing influences are Faulkner, Larry McMurtry, Peter Gent, Joyce Carol Oates, and Robert Cormier.
Music has been a tremendous influence on my life and writing, most particularly Guns n' Roses, Metallica, Slayer, Alice in Chains, and Danzig.

Influences: Unwritten Law, Guns n Roses, Alice in Chains, The Cult, Godsmack, John Prine, Slayer, The Misfits, Danzig, The Dogs Damour, and The Doors were all influential in my writing of this novel.
It was written for the invisible students: the geeks, Goths, bookworms, spazzes, nerds, dweebs, and the rest of the uncategorized who are sexually harassed or bullied each and every day of their school existence.
Dont resort to violence; read this book, listen to this music, and know that someone gives a damn out there. Look for a friend. And if you have one or two, you're doing better than most of us!
Sounds Like: The scream you emit when an old sore is picked of its infection and medicine is applied.
The groan elicited by a bright light shone upon you when in a dark place.
Your worst nightmare set to awesome music.
The halls of your high school.

Innuendo, Planet Terror, and Fatigue

I was thinking of the most clever sexual innuendos or blatant messages in rock music.  You gotta love the title of some of the songs that are blatantly sexual in nature.  Meatplow by Stone...
