DJ Alen Kan (Alexander Kanioglou) was born in Thessaloniki in 1980. He started DJing in Thessaloniki's bar-clubs in 1997. By 2002 he had played in several bar-clubs (Bolzoi-Mono-Premier-Oxthi-Beluga) in the 3 most HOT recreational areas of Thessaloniki (Krini-Salamina-Paraliaki). After that the time came and he moved on playing on Clubs & BeachBars all over Northern Greece & Crete Island, as resident or guest DJ. From then up to 2006 he kept DJing, collecting tracks, widening his music horizons and the style of music he played. In the beginning he spined house & pop tracks, then more electrohouse and rock-remixed tracks also inserting Greek PopBeat tracks in his sets. These 4 years found him DJing in Barelladiko, Totem, Cassa di Notte, Sea to See, Majestic, Kaka, Suki, Dolls, Ploton as resident and several more places as Guest. The last year (2006-2007) he joined the Greek army (national service) and had to depart from his beloved DJ decks, BUT in the summer of 2007 he finished his army service and quickly started spinning again in Thessaloniki & Halkidiki. He played with Nikola Gala with whom he is a long time friend and with Peter D from MASTER TEMPO. Currently he is once again experimenting with remixing & producing. Big stuff is going to happen as Alen Kan is opening his wings as a now mature DJ and remixer so keep in touch..
