The Rook bio
Dj Mc The ROOK comes from Crete/Greece and until now has made a name for himself in North Greece, especially Thessaloniki & Serres. Now, he’s up to…takin’ over the world!
His background is versatile. Working in many clubs around Greece for years, he accumulated knowledge, worked on his craft and made himself better each day. Recognition for him as a dj came with residencies at the best clubs in Thessaloniki (Goldfish-Olympion), Halkidiki (Aqua) and Serres (Ekko & Alex). But that wasn’t enough for Rook.
Although he was great at playing many kinds of music styles, his big love was always Hip-Hop & R&B. Finding time to work on his skills on the microphone, his big dream was to become a full fledged successful MC. That’s where MASTER TEMPO came in. With their help, The ROOK made his Monday nights in Serres, titled “The ROOK is on fire” the hottest place to be, with special guest like Thirio, Ypoxthonios, Bo and many others poppin’ by to sing with him.
With MASTER TEMPO’s help and the support of their label, dB music, The ROOK now has a cd single ready that’s gonna rock the radios & clubs. So, next to seeing him spin the decks on a club near you, watch out for his cd “To Onoma Mou (my name)” featuring performances by MASTER TEMPO and Greek music Legend Leyteris Pantazis.
Also, The ROOK is featured on the new Petros Imvrios song “E Nai Loipon” out now from icon musicand with a clip produced by Star System productions.
