MASTER TEMPO was already a well established brand name of PETER D when he first met with ZANIS in 2005. Performing and producing pop/R&B hits as a solo act or with superstar collaborations, it wasn’t until the inclusion of ZANIS’s Rapping and top-dollar producing skills in 2006 that MASTER TEMPO became the hottest hip-hop act and a producing force to be reckoned with.
In less than a year they have already written-composed & produced hits & remixes for a diverse set of artists, from Greek Superstars Sakis Rouvas & Leyteris Pantazis to up & coming newcomers Annete Artani & Eya Mpaila to celebrity top model turned singer Gogo Mastrokosta.
With their first album ready to come out and their productions & DOGGY STYLE parties in demand all over the country, the sky is the limit for Greece’s dynamic duo,

WHAT ABOUT DOGGY STYLE?
DOGGY STYLE is the position in which dogs have their sexual intercourse (sexytime-niiice!!!). Other than that, DOGGY STYLE is the official Hip-Hop and R&B show hosted by MASTER TEMPO all over Greece. DOGGY STYLE’s success has led MASTER TEMPO to the top of Greece’s Hip-Hop artists, even before the release of their first album! The hot mix of MC-DJing, special video projections & sexy dancers that the party delivers makes even the non-believers of hip-hop believe.

INDIVIDUAL INFO
Zanis grew up in Germany where he picked up his first Hip-Hop influences. When he came to Greece he made his first steps as an MC in his hometown of Kavala, soon creating the hip-hop group Sidarta (1995). The group quickly established it’s own unique sound, leading to their first record deal by the country’s biggest hip-hop label at the time (Freestyle Productions/Active Member).
For the next 3 years Sidarta performed live all over Greece on their own & with Active Member and also released a number of tracks included in various compilations. Feeling that the time for a full album had come, Zanis & Sidarta left Freestyle Productions and released “telika se pio oneiro anoiko?” (“to which dream do I belong?”), their first album, independently.
A year after the release, the group broke up and Zanis went into music production, studying music engineering at the same time. After a long list of collaborations with several hip-hop artists he met with Peter_D with whom he worked with on several productions for some of Greece’s top selling artists.
Later on, and because of the great chemistry between them, they created their studio/label called dB music and formed Master Tempo into their current status.
Peter_D is & has been one of Greece’s top DJ’s for the last 15 years. Living & working at the hottest spots & parties first in Athens and later in Thessaloniki, he made a name for himself as the one to call when you need the best.
Feeling the need to crossover to the next level he co-created the record label “4records” in 2003 with 3 other top DJ’s and was one of the very first contributors in the making of the first DJ’s union in Greece called “Dee-Jay”. First with fellow spinner Dimitris K and latter on his own, he created several hit productions under the “Master Tempo” moniker (including the massive cover hit “panta zeis” with greek Superstar Leyteris Pantazis).
Leaving 4records at the start of 2005, he had already seen songs of his at the top of the charts, and his productions licenced to some of the biggest labels in Greece (EMI, Planetworks, Legend & Alpha records). It was time for something even bigger…
And bigger it was, in the form of his partnership with producer/mc Christian Blazin a.k.a. “Zanis”. Zani’s top-level Rapping skills where only surpassed by his talent in the studio, and combined with Peter_D’s smooth flow and deft ear for success there was no stopping them. And stopped they haven’t!
They created productions & remixes for big name artists, made their own studio/label in the form of dB music and created the hottest parties all over Greece (Doggy Style) in less than a year.
The future looks bright for Peter_D as long as there are more peaks for him to conquer!

dB music is the love child of Master Tempo. Their love of music that is! Feeling the need to infuse some fresh air in the Greek record industry’s sound, they built their own studio and created their own label.
In the few months that this collaboration exists, they have already written-composed & produced hits & remixes for a diverse set of artists, from Greek Superstars Sakis Rouvas & Leyteris Pantazis to up & coming newcomers Annete Artani & Eya Mpaila to celebrity top model turned singer Gogo Mastrokosta.
Their ambition to become number one in what they do combined with the best ears in the business when it comes to hit songs is an explosive combination, ready to set the Greek music industry on fire!

Master Tempo CD comin' soon.
Master Tempo’s first full album is ready to take the music world by storm. Comin’ soon to a cd store near you, it boosts killer beats and grade A performances from Zanis & Peter_D.
But That’s not all. Included are many songs featuring some of the most respected & established Hip-Hop artists in Greece. Rappers like Bo, Sifu Versus, Pro Sinnerz, M.O.S., Sidarta & Aleksandros show their skills alongside Master Tempo, plus a collaboration with one of the best known European dance producers is included.
The name of that track is “Pan’ Ayta” and it’s a Master Tempo VS. DJ Antoine high ride, takin’ DJ Antoine’s beats from his track “Arabian Adventure 2” and having Master Tempo Rapping over it.
All these plus sure-to-be-hits solo acts like “Sexy”, “Pio Psila” and others are sure to make clubs crumble and radios go BOOM!
